If you know us (and if you're reading this, I sincerely hope you do) then you know that we are serious fans of food and as a result spent some quality time interviewing caterers, sampling their food, thinking about menus and sampling their food again. We finally decided on Simpatica, a new, but already well-respected catering company based in the old La Luna building. Ah, La Luna... I miss it so.

But I digress.

Simpatica will fill our bellies with all kinds of delights, including their two house specialities: Cedar Plank Grilled Salmon and Porchetta. Don't know what porchetta is? It's a whole pig stuffed with pork loin, stuffed with pork sausage: kind of like a turducken, but with all pig instead -- a pigpigpig, I guess.

Pambiche will be making our cake in three separate flavors (one for each tier): Mexican chocolate and mousse; passion fruit mousse and genoise; Pambiche's own "island" carrot cake. Perhaps you'd like to let us know what flavor you'd prefer so we can deicde which flavor to make the big tier. Won't you particpate in our poll?

If you could choose only one cake flavor, which would you choose?
