Our ceremony and reception both conveniently held at the same location to reduce guest wear and tear will occur on Saturday, July 1st, 2006.

The location is the lovely and amazing Hoyt Arboretum inside the Stevens Pavilion which, while not particularly lovely itself, is still quite nice. Plus, well get the best of both worlds: a beautiful outdoor Portland park at the peak of summer and shelter just in case the Portland skies want to prove to whos really in charge.

We will commence the ceremonial festivities at 1:00 PM. Actually, well probably start more around 1:15 because, I dont know about you, but, us, were always running a little late. Anyway, itll give you some time to enjoy the musical stylings of the Ariel Consort a group of musicians that does a bang-up rendition of La Vie En Rose. They do other songs, too.

Our ceremony will be conducted by our longtime friend (in fact, he's the fellow who introduced us) and now our spiritual leader, Reverend Mr. Christopher "Elbong" Bade Lozac'h. Yes, he's a reverend now and he has the certificate printed from the internet to prove it. We don't know yet what we're going to say or do during the ceremony, but we'll try to keep it short and touching (not literally).

After our brief, but meaningful and moving ceremony, we invite you to stick around for a while and eat like a starved jackal. The tasty lunch buffet comes to us courtesy of Simpatica Catering, the new hotshots on the catering block.

And have you heard about the cake? Its coming from Pambiche Restaurant. If you dont know who that is, all you need to know is that its worth sticking around for.
